Topic: some people believe the best way of learning about life is by listening to the advice of family and friends. Others believe the best way of learning about life is through personal experience. Which view do you agree with? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Each person is an individual which lives independently and has its own responsibility to solve whatever problems occurred in life without relying on anybody such as family and friends. Seemingly, this nonstop challenge requires people to have a way of learning about life effectively. Some people think that the best way to learn about life is by listening to the advice of family and friends. Others said that the best one is though personal experience. I agree with the view that due to what people experience from daily life, they can learn more about life. There are several reasons why agree with this view.

Firstly, people are allowed to be more mature since they aware of having a sense responsibility to their life. To illustrate this, think of the result from listening to the advice of family and friends. Of course, no one can deny the fact that parents are old stagers who often direct us the better way to the goal than we do. However, as we live dependently on people around and achieve the success easily, we become less actively, less responsibly and lack of interest either working or studying. Absolutely, you will not be able to be taught any lesson about life. On the other hand, going through the period of time which demands you to be more serious and more hard trying will show you the real value of life. Moreover, this will train you to be a man of a firm stuff to face everything and you can also avoid unfortunate consequences come o your life without any help from any body.

Secondly, personal experiences will help you to learn the lesson effectively. To be more specific, think of the possibility of one person to learn saving money. It is not that by listening to family’s advice, you can save money without the attraction of luxury goods such as clothes, vehicles, and so on. However, once you suffer adversities, the feeling of not having money to supply the needs of living you will learn he lesson effectively and easily. This example represents the important of learning through your own experiences. Someone may tell you how to learn something in life, but merely listening a direction can not satisfy what you have expected.

In conclusion, even though listening to advice of family and friends has its own advantages to make it be the better choice for somebody. However, I still believe the fact that learning through personal experiences will bring me the best path to my success in the future since I am able to learn effectively and have a sense of responsibility to my life.
