Some people prefer to learn from people who are at the same level as them, such as friends and coworkers. Others prefer to learn from people who are more advanced than they are, such as teachers and experts.

With the development of the society and the economy, people are required to be professional in working and studying. There fore, they will be able to be more successful in their career. On one’s hand, being master at one field is quite hard since people do not know where and who to learn from. Some people believe that learning from people who are at the same level as them is the good choice. Others choose learning from people who are more advanced than they are. As for me, I prefer the view that to learn from those who is more advanced than me. There are several reasons why I prefer this choice.

Firstly, I will have chance to gain not only individual matters but also broader knowledge through their experiences. As the teachers and experts are old stagers, they have the ability to clarify the problem we have. To illustrate this, consider your own experiences when you working with the advisor. Did the professor give you the direct answer or he just draws a path which leads to the answer? More over, we can also learn from them some skills which are absolutely essential during our studying process such as patience, self- confidence, independence, and so on.

In contrast to my point of view, due to the advantages of learning from those who are at the same level, we are able to learn from them different ways of studying whether they bring us the better affect. However, I think that this advantage is a waste of time since with the same time, we can learn from the professor the good way to study and also some useful skills.

Secondly, the motivation to study harder and harder is a good affect that may occurs while learning from teachers, experts, and so on. For examples, I am an ambitious person who always want to be the best. Therefore, when I learn from people who are more advanced than I am, I admire them. I force myself into thinking of being master like them. Thus, this way of thinking gives me the motivation to study harder. Seemingly, my ambition helped me to think big and the motivation helped me to fulfill my dream. Finally, what I can obtain is more than I can expect.

Of course, no one can deny the fact that learning from people who are the same level as we are has its own reasons to be considered a good one. However, as for me, to dare to think big and to have the ability to master every fields of knowledge, learning from people who are more advanced than me is always my first and my only choice.
