Hi everyone! I'm new here. I am glad to find this kind of site... #1 (permalink) Thu Aug 21, 2008 11:25 am   Hi everyone! I'm new here. I am glad to find this kind of site...

I am a fresh graduate. I have tried working in an international investment bank and yesterday was my last day. I did not enjoy the work. I stayed there for only four months and now I feel that I am lost. I don't know what would happen to me now. I graduated cum laude yet I feel that I only know little when it comes to work. I am planning to take up law now to try my "luck" there. I want to try it but I am not sure about it as of the moment. I don't have the confidence that I would pass any law school. Why? The main reason is my deficiency in english. I seldom read books and I seldom speak in english. I am very afraid to communicate in english. I am afraid to commit mistakes. I am glad I have found this site. Hopefully this could help me improve my communication and writing skills. I only have two months to prepare for the exam. I really need to pass it.

Please give me some advice and tips on how to address my problem. Do you think it is still possible for me to improve my english given the short time? Should I forget my dream of becoming a lawyer and find now another job instead? I am very confused and some could give me some piece of advice. Many thanks! And I hope to hear from any one of you guys soon! :D
