difference between after getting vs after got #2 (permalink) Mon Aug 25, 2008 8:16 am   difference between after getting vs after got

Hi,

'After getting' needs to be followed by a subject and main verb: After getting the shopping, we went home. Alternatively we could say: After we got (had got) the shopping, we went home.
