What does the pronoun "those" refer to?

I agree with whizzkid. In this case I think Mary was being humorous...she wanted two magazines to take 10 years off! Smile.

Hi all,

Yes, 'those' does refer to the magazine, but she's making a joke. The idea is that if the magazine tells you how to make yourself look 5 years younger, she'll buy two of them, in order to look 10 years younger.
