SURREALISM: You have two giraffes. The government requires you to take harmonica lessons.

What does this mean?

You have two giraffes. #2 (permalink) Thu Sep 04, 2008 19:38 pm   You have two giraffes.

In the real world, some governments pay you an extra monthly child allowance for your second, third and fourth baby.

In surreal worlds, governments usually make you take harmonica lessons if you have two giraffes.

If you are frightened by harmonicas, then it's bad. But if you are a folk musician, then it's good. At least until the giraffes start to play the kazoo....

Actually, it just means that it's weird, or kind of like a dream that doesn't make sense. It's supposed to be a joke.
