Hi,

Possibly a question of scale or proportion. I can imagine a presenter at a TV show asking the audience: Is everybody enjoying themselves? And the hosts at a dinner party asking: Has everyone got something to eat?

No. The latter is usually less formal.

Everybody is considered informal compared to everyone, but otherwise they are interchangeable.

Sultano, you may also show a big interest in the difference between "everyone" and "every one".

Mister Micawber, too, explains it here:

Perhaps a question of scale or proportion. I can not imagine a host of a television program he asked his audience: Is everyone having fun? And it offers a dinner to ask: Does everyone have something to eat?
