In the sentence"Iran played down the french persident's warning that it risked being attacked by Israel." what kind of clause has been used.it seems to me it is a noun clause, but i thought it can be possible only after an adjective.am i right to assume i can use a noun clause after a noun when ever i want as a completer

Yes, I think that 'that...Israel' is a noun clause in apposition to 'warning'.
