commercial training course? (kaufmännischer Kurs)

Hi,

I'm looking for a translation of the German term 'kaufmännischer Kurs'. Some dictionaries suggest "commercial course" but that's very ambiguous, since 'commercial' has different meanings. We are talking about a training courses for accountants, sales people, etc. as opposed to engineers and technical professions.

What do you think about "business administration course"?

Any ideas?

Hi Alan,

Vocational training course might be a bit too much since those kaufmännische Kurse are also offered to employees who attend the course one or two nights per week. In other words, many of the course participants already have a profession.

What would you call such programs?
