GRE Subject and General- what the difference and which is easier? Thu Sep 18, 2008 5:25 am  GRE Subject and General- what the difference and which is easier?

Well, the general test is the one that everyone takes for grad school admissions. It has a quant section, a verbal section (both of those are multiple choice), and a writing section with 2 essays.

There are several different subject tests that are required for some majors, but not most. Depends on what you're planning to study.

Go to the official site, www.gre.org , for more info.

Good luck!!
