How to improve my TOEFL IBT score?

hi everybody

This is Ahmad , a secondary school English teacher.In fact I already did my ibt getting 68 .The targeted score is 88.It means I am 20 grade down the targeted one.
reading: 22 speaking:18 writing :20 listening :8
Notice: I am in a country where English is used as a foreign language . It is completely passive.
What is the real solution for such a shameful situation??
What should i do to improve the score?

No doubt I will have to re-take the test .What is before the test is the most important.What should I do??What do you adivse?

Hi! I was in the same situation that you are now.
You can gratly increase your listening by watching tv, movies or shows in english.
Reading and writing can be both improved by reading english books.

Hi,
I would also suggest something.Read a lot in English.Given that you do not have an access to newspapers in English, you can read them on the internet. Since I read The New York Times every day I've improved my reading skill very much. I will give you the link to the internet edition of The Times: http://www.nytimes.com/.
And dont't forget- perseverance!

Your English seems pretty good, I wonder why you've scored so low. However, the most important is the fact that you are willing to study. Watch movies in which the speech is English, read, watch Discovery and Animal Planet (if possible), write down every single word that is unfamiliar to you. Regardless of the amount of time spent on each activity, PERSEVERANCE is extremely crucial. I repeat, CONSISTENCY and PERSEVERANCE are vital.

I am going to take a TOEFL exam for stadying in the USA.I want to apply for irex programm.
The Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (Global UGRAD) in Eurasia and Central Asia is a program of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the United States Department of State. UGRAD provides opportunities for current first, second, and third year undergraduate students from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan to spend one academic year of non-degree study in a US university or community college. Participants are selected through an open, merit-based competition.
I know almost nothing about TOEFL exams,I have been seriously stadying English for 2 years and Know I want to try...The exams are to be taken in February.Is it real to get ready by that time??
I would be very greatfull to you if you told me some more about this exam and how I can get ready for it myself.Thanks in advance.
