Modern technology has brought about changes in the roles of men and women. Discuss some of these changes. Do you think these changes have been beneficial?

Modern age is the age of science, we can see science in every walk of life.Science has created us with many wonders.If our anchestors visit our place they cant recognize it as our nation got very advanced with this modern technology.These technologies made man’s life very comfortable and filled their lives with happiness . Modern technology has brought about changes in the roles of men and women and the following cases will explain them clearly.

Technology changed our present world . By the usage of latest cooking utensils women can cook meals quickly and can wash clothes by using washing machine and now the foods can be preserved for longer period by the usage of refrigerator.This made women to complete her works fast and enjoy her leisure time.Secondly , the great scientist Thomas Edison discovered the Electricity which is useful in our daily life for irrigation purpose and for running of trains with the help of electricity and to lighten the room. Thirdly, travelling to any place was made easy because of cheap means of transportation like railways,motor cars,buses,trucks etc.Aeroplane made us to travel to any corner of the world within few hours and this made people connect from different nations.Fouthly, communication through telephone ,telegraghy,and via email connected people .All the above aspects show how complex works of both men and women changed to simple ways,thus technology changed the roles of men and women.

This is just the one sideof the coin , there are also negative effects of the technology . The same technology created atom bombs,hydrogen bombs.During second world war lakhs of people died when USA throwed atom bomb on nagasaki and hiroshima.These deadly weapons cause lot of destruction and if Third world was occurs then no life can prevail on the earth as it is going to be nuclear war.

As there is also fact that technology made miracles in the field of surgery, it gave vision to the persons who are blind and gave ears to those who are deaf and with the help of X rays we can find the disease inside the body and diagonize it.So I think that these changes are beneficial . I think that technology can be both beneficial and curse.Its upto us whether we use this technology in right way or in the wrong way.
