Hello. Thank you for great website. I think that I have a good english (I scored 283/300 in the TOEFL test) but I've found it difficult to achieve a better english. I wish I could speak as a native, but i can't afford to live abroad. What do you recommend me in order to get an advanced command of english like using a lot of idioms and slang???. For example, I don't understand when you use bring up or bring out. Thank you
Jose

The problem with phrasal verbs is that there are sometimes different meanings for the same phrasal verb. Bring up is often used to mean rear/educate as in: Parents bring up children. Bring out is often used to mean produce/publish as in: The publishers are bringing out a second edition of that successful novel.
