How nasty GRE® gets?

Hi everyone,

I'm planning for the gre in last week of novemember...been preparing with barrons for time being. i hv been bothered by posts in this forum that say that real gre gets quite nasty if one is doing good. can anyone suggest where can i practice hardest questions for both maths n verbal sections. how far they go in quant.......do they ask questions on functions, maximas , time, speed n distance n races etc.

yes, they ask all of these kinds of questions. if the questions get nasty then you have to be happy (that means, you answered all the questions right). you have better know how CAD works. the math questions (if manage your time well) won't get nastier than the high school math. I had to randomly select answers for the last 6 questions within 1 minute (without even readnig them) and scored 760 on the math part. princeton review is a fine book to consider (i am not related to the company though ^^). for the math, if you are not sure of your skills, get the kaplan's math workbook.
