Hi!
I do speak English and I would like to improve my listening, writing, idioms, phrasal verbs, and so on. Another goal is to improve my ToefI and TOIC scores. I found this site excelent for my purposes, and so I am studying here many things. For instance, today I select "Make and do ESL lesson" and a test about slang, both of them are quite useful. I look for my score but a requirement was to participate in a forum. So I am doing now. I am a little lost here, I don't now what to do. I' very talkative but here I have not meet anyone yet. Should I use a very formal language? With Whom should I argue some subjects? Should I firstly correct my writing in a computer program or is better to be more natural (just that this message ). Well I think is enough for today, nice to met you and I hope, some one, or probably yourselg, propose me any interesting subject.
Greetings
Frank

Hi Frank,

Welcome to English-test.net.

To answer a few of your questions, formal language isn't required here, but we do attempt to help everybody use correct language.

If there's something random you'd like to discuss or debate, you may find this forum interesting.

One of the most popular and widely used forums is the Vocabulary, Grammar and Idioms forum. There, you can post any general question(s) you have about using the English language, ask for feeback on a particular point, or an explanation about any aspect of English.

If you have a question about something in particular on one of the many tests offered on this site, you should post that question here.

There are also separate forums for GRE, SAT, TOIEC, and TOEFL questions, along with one for the newsletter.

If you're not completely sure where you should post your question, don't worry about it too much, one of the moderators will eventually move it to the most appropriate forum.

Also, this is a weekend, and if often seems like there's not as many people using the forums during the weekends as during the weekdays. Don't worry, hang around a bit, and you'll soon meet plenty of folks.

Jump in, get your feet wet!
