Princeton GMAT Math Bible is now available to the public! #1 (permalink) Mon Sep 29, 2008 6:05 am   Princeton GMAT Math Bible is now available to the public!

Our only concern is that too many students will score over a 700.

http://www.princetongmat.com

Our students’ average GMAT Math score is 50.
More than half of our students achieve the perfect score on GMAT Math of 51.
More than 80% of our students achieve a total score of 700 or above on the GMAT.
Most students score 150 points higher on the GMAT in as little as 2-3 weeks.

The PrincetonGMAT Math Bible is mainly designed for those who expect to get a PERFECT score (99th) on the quantitative section. We are very proud of the results that 81% of past customers got a perfect score on the GMAT Math Section. Now, we'd like to extend the same offer to you.

Some features of our math guide include:

A comprehensive math review of Arithmetic, Algebra, and Geometry. You don't need to consult a specific math book for a more detailed discussion. The basic math concepts are already included.

Higher-level topics, such as Permutation, Probability, and Standard Deviation, are also addressed in detail so that you won't feel lost on the test day.

A special chapter on Word Problems: Techniques to "numberize" a question instead of reading a question. Solving a math question that was created in a complicated manner will no longer be a problem for you.

Your will learn easy-to-use strategies to tackle the trick questions.

And more...http://www.princetongmat.com

Respectfully,

GMAT Exam Tips #2 (permalink) Mon Sep 29, 2008 7:45 am   GMAT Exam Tips

If you do have to take the GMAT here are some helpful tips on conquering the GMAT. First of all, it is important for you to know what will be on the test, so that you know what to expect and can properly prepare for the exam. The first part of the GMAT consists of an Analytical Writing Assessment where you will be given two essay questions and topics that must be completed. You will be given a total of 60 minutes to complete both essays. The second section of the GMAT is the quantitative section of the exam. You will be given 37 multiple-choice questions that deal with problem solving questions. You will have 75 minutes to complete this section. The final section covered on the GMAT is the verbal section. You will be given 75 minutes to complete 41 multiple-choice questions dealing with reading comprehension, critical reasoning and sentence correction.
