Hello! My name is Ludmila.I am from Latvija, but I live and work in Scotland. I not like this country very much because of it weather. It mostly raining and no sun here. I wish to go back at my country, but it`s not time yet. It is quit difficult to learn English in Scotland, because most of people speak on their Scottish dialect. I really want to improve my English and I hope your site help me. Thank you.

Welcome to the site.

If it makes you feel any better, I can't understand Scots either, because I'm American. Sometimes if I drink a lot of beer, then I can understand them better.

As for rain and lack of sun, I think that's pretty much the British Isles in general, no? So, once you perfect your English you can talk about the rain, or maybe talk about the rain, or even discuss the rain and fog.

Come to think of it, it really doesn't matter how much English you learn. You'll still only be able to talk about the rain, in Scotland.
