You still haven't posted any evidence of using "while" to mean "until" in a sentence such as the one you posted in your earlier mini-conversation -- i.e. "wait while the concert is over".

Not sure what you see as the difference in meaning and usage of "wait while" between "wait while you father gets home" and "wait while the concert is over".

And you still haven't answered MrP's question, either.

Which one?

Hmmm. I'd say you're muddling things only because you know we're right.

So, we get to another MrP "we are right and everyone else, especially Molly, is wrong" - even though only a few have commented on the thread examples. Great statistics, MrP.

I didn't mention "right" or "wrong". I summarised the positions of those who had commented on the original examples.

And without once using "right?", right'? Which just goes to show that you can be impolite, disagreeably cocky, provocative, peremptory, etc? without needing that tag to help you.

Well, I've no doubt I can; but in that particular post, where I summarised your position, I mostly used your own words.

This must all be extremely wearisome for non-native speakers to read, though. So we had better leave it there.
