How best to learn English tenses? #1 (permalink) Sat Oct 04, 2008 1:30 am   How best to learn English tenses?

I teach English privately at home to adults from both Europe and Asia. Many of them have problems using tenses. I've found ways to make other aspect of learning English enjoyable and easy with activity-based lessons, but am having difficulty finding good ways to teach tenses.
As I mainly teach one on one, ideas suited to a class group aren't suitable. Any suggestions?

Hi Lorizin,

Welcome to english-test.net and many thanks for your interesting question. You can start learning and teaching the English tenses by taking our tenses tests. Please start with this one and tell me how many questions you and your students get right on the first attempt.

Let me know what you think.
