Interviewer: I should have thoug this was pretty obvious.

Correct answer: (c) pretty obvious

Your answer was: incorrect
Interviewer: I should have thoug this was clear ovious.

Is "pretty" here not too informal as it concerns an interview? Wouldn't be "quite" better as "clear" is absolutely wrong?
