I will have "Marx" upload this file. I will get "Marx" to upload this file.
Can you get "SAM" to upload this file. - fine. I'd say you don't need the quotes/quotation marks.
What or who are SAM and Marx" there? |

1. Can you get "SAM" to upload this file. My intention: I am asking person-A whether he can get the job done by "SAM".
2. I will have "Marx" to upload this file. My intention: I am telling that I can get this job done by "Marx".
Which sentence is correct and which one is wrong? |
Hi Suresh,
Sentence #1 is okay. Sentence #2 should say "I will have Marx upload this file." Your intention is correct, but you don't need the 'to' before 'upload'. Otherwise it's correct also.
Alternatively, you could say "I'll get Marx to upload this file." _________________ Plan to be spontaneous tomorrow.
