How to express thank you in different way? #1 (permalink) Thu Apr 21, 2005 20:45 pm   How to express thank you in different way?

I am a EFL learner. If someone helped me a lot, can I say I own you a pleasure? Or there are other ways, I can express my thanks to the one who helped me a lot?

Difference between own and owe #2 (permalink) Thu Apr 21, 2005 20:52 pm   Difference between own and owe

You could say I owe you a lot. Please note that the verbs to own and to owe might look similar but they both have completely different meanings.
By the way, you are an EFL learner and we are happy to have you here on the forum. Keep asking questions and sharing your experiences.
Talk to you soon,
Torsten
