Hi Conchita

Yes, it was KanTalk. I enjoyed your song there, too! By the way, are you the only (or lead) singer in your folk band? Or are the guys crooners, too?

My voice tends to show up online primarily via Skype. Laughing

Difficult to say. For some reason s/he has this habit of wanting to keep a low profile, which makes people even more curious, of course.

Two of the musicians do the occasional vocal accompaniment (the guitarist even does a couple of pop songs) and I usually sing the lead vocals.

I ask nothing more than that.

To me, it's the same as 'teacher', which, incidentally, is the term I normally use.

Hello Conchita – I think we have probably passed each other in the corridor on other forums.

Best wishes,

Hello MrP, and thank you for the good wishes, which are reciprocated.

Oh, and I'm glad we can be more than nodding acquaintances across the corridor now.

Hi Conchita

As the most "success-resistant" learner of this site I seem to be also the only member without any proficient background in the English who can remember having seen you here.
Nonetheless, I join the comunity of wellcomers here and want to add that I look forward to reading again your posts by now!

regards

In the minds of most Spaniards, they've already won the World Cup. Wink

they'll have a shot. I don't think there'll be a clear favorite in 2010 -- should be exciting.
