Dear Sim,
Many thanks for your giving such positive feedback on our project. You can achieve any score as long as you take the right steps. First of all you should be very clear about what exactly your goals are. What do you want to study and why do you want to study in the US and not in your own country? Once you have made a firm decision to enrol in a university program in the US it will be easier for you to prepare for the tests you have to pass including the TOEFL. You still have about 2 weeks left until your exam - make the best use of it: Create a training plan that shows what activities you are going to do every day. Go through your TOEFL test prep materials again, read some of the texts aloud to yourself. This will help you memorize grammar patterns and vocabulary. Start practicing today and tell us about your progress. Let us know what you think. Torsten

Dear Torsten,
Thanks a lot for your reply. I must say your site is really good and your reply makes me bit confident. Well! I have already applied in SIUC for physical education master course.I have sent all relevent documents but I got a letter from department that I need to achieve around 220 but unfortunatly I am working in Doha, Qatar in school as a PE teacher and no facility of CBT test. So I have registered for PBT. I really need to know PBT is easier or harder than CBT? Can u tell me meaning of phrase " be better off ". I am from India but I have worked in thailand and now in Doha.I am 25 year old. Its my dream to study in USA for better training nad teaching in future. Now as U know my score of CBT please guide me .I would be grateful. I have problem in finishing on time.
Hope to get your reply soon. Smita |

Dear Torsten,
many thanks for your different replies which help me in many area of topics. I am starting my preparation for applying to an MBA next year. I need more than 620 on the TOEFL PBT.
I am training myself with Barron edition and I found some model tests a bit easy. Do they reflect the real TOEFL exam prepared by ETS ?. I would not want working on the wrong support and being surprised by the score I'll get.
Thanks in advance for your reply,
