Hi

Could you please tell me if I have punctuated the following sentences correctly? [especially the red]

Quote:
"The problem is," said the policeman "that we don't have enough evidence."

Should I use a comma after the policeman?

"Do you think you can cross this river?" she asked. "No one has ever done that before."

"What a beautiful rose!" the king said happily.

In my humble, non-native opinion, the first sentence needs a comma after 'policeman'.
