1. Although 'food' can be used as a count noun, it is normally uncountable. If we are talking about prepared food like pizza and salad, then I'd suggest, 'My favourite dishes are...'.
2. You can have one or several favourite things. In fact, we would often be hard pressed to single out just one favourite.

. Saying "My favorite foods are ..." is fine in my book too. I often find it difficult to refer to something such as "pizza" as a "dish" since it a typical fast food here. . |

Haha, right. The ad copy for Korean Domino's pizza says, "When you call to order a pizza, a dish is delivered to your home." It means, of course, Domino's pizza is not mere fastfood but afancy dish.  |
