Determining tenses? #1 (permalink) Thu Oct 30, 2008 16:42 pm   Determining tenses?

There are words that helps to determine english tenses. For example, if there's a word in the sentence 'now' it means present continuous. So, what any other 'Tense Determiner' words can be listed.

example:

Present Continuous: now, at the moment, ...etc
Simple Past: Yesterday...

Am i thinking in a right way on this matter??? If not, help me to find out the correct way.

Thanks beforehand :)

.
Yes, those words help, but the rule is not absolute.

I see it now.
I'm going now.
I will go now.

I go now = If any task is almost scheduled, we can use Simple Present Tense like this.
I will go now = Also fine, may be some uncertainity about this "going".
