Hi, whenever I want to watch a trailor or video on an American website I get this message: 'Copyrights restrict us from playing this video outside the U.S.' What excatly does that mean? What copyrights would the website owner violate if they showed me the video?

Thanks,
Torsten

I wonder if it relates to cases where the website owner has been granted permission to broadcast items, but only to users from within the US.
