I'm doing a research about EIPVs. please if any one is interested , give the translation of the following statements.

1 -Don't keep talking about that letter. I know I shouldn't do it, but there's no need to rub my nose in it.

2 -Father wasn't supposed to know about his birthday surprise – now you've let
the cat out of the bag.

3 -When I realized that her husband was listening to what I was saying to her, I
could have bitten my tongue off.

4 -The 'Daily Mirror' says nobody can put back the clock and get rid of
decimal currency.

5 -Mary thinks too highly of herself. Someone should cut her down to size.

6 -Slow down this instant, Percy! You're going to drive me around the bend!

7 -My eyes popped out when I saw Miriam. I hadn't seen her in years. She
has aged a lot since then.

8 -I've been working for the last eight hours and now I'm fed up to my back
teeth with work.

The subjects participating in this research are Libyan translators, Libyan translation students and if any member in this forum would like to participate, I appreciate that in advance.

انا جد ممنون من ترجمتك و لكن ما رايك لو كانت الاولى ( لا داع لأن تعيرنى بها ) و الثالثة ( تمنيت لو قطع لسانى ) او ( لو انشقت الارض و ابتلعتنى ) و الخامسة ( يضعها فى حجمها الحقيقى ) او ( يجعلها تعرف قدرها ) و السابعة ( ستجعلنى افقد صوابى ) و الثامنة ( طفح بى الكيل من العمل ) او ( لم يعد لى صبر على العمل )
