What place / Where #2 (permalink) Mon Nov 03, 2008 11:05 am   What place / Where

Sentence number one is grammatically correct but repetitive. In order to avoid repeating the word 'place', I'd suggest:

What is the best place in Taiwan?

Your second example is also acceptable.
