Is this sentence correct? If not, how would you express the idea?

This is now the 3rd time I've seen this. No, it's not correct.

I saw your father before I came here. -- preferred for me because the sequence is clear and there's no need for the past perfect.

I had seen your father before I came here.

I will have seen your father before I come here (future)
