Hi!
The discussion is going away from the orignal one.
Is it absolutely necessary to know from where this language came? I think that is for language pandits and culture specialists. For us, we should try to keep ourselves abreast of things that(informed) are new and in vouge(in this language).

i highly suspect that there are significant amounts of english coming from dutch because i have noticed that these are the only 2 languages where they use ee, and oo, for the sound of i, and u. this is not seen in any other languages. for example, the word seed would be written as sid in most other languages. the word tool would be written as tul in most, if not all european languages.
