In Malaysia, when we meet Muslim friends, we say "Assalamualaikum", meaning "Peace be upon you" and then we shake hands (but with both hands). When the person is older, like my parents age, I would have to kiss his/her hands, it will be rude for me not to. It's a Malay culture.
Then we meet our non-Muslim friends we just say hi and shake our hands, usually with the right hand only. |

Hi, I think Muslim is a religious word but Arabic is a language.I'm not sure whether there is any another meaning. |

Giang is correct.
A Muslim is a person (of any race) who follows the tenets of Islam, just as a Christian is a person (of any race) who follows the beliefs of Christianity.
An Arab is a member of a particular race of people.
There are many Muslims who are not Arabs. Actually, there are more non-Arab Muslims than there are Arab Muslims, even though the religion began in the heart of Arabian Peninsula. Indonesia is the most populous Muslim country, followed by Pakistan, Bangladesh, and India, none of which are Arabic.
Even in the Middle East, there are Muslims that are not Arabs. The most obvious examples would be Iranians and Turks, who have a distinctly different cultural heritage from the Arabs. They share a religion, but not a ethnic identity. _________________ Plan to be spontaneous tomorrow.
