Thanks, Torsten. Enough is enough. I agree. I’ve joined the topic only to answer Jamie(K)’s remark about “ poor Russians”. And then there were photos of murdered people all over my face. I hope I won’t be provoked that easily next time. |

You'd better also learn more about how the word "poor" is used in English and the different things it can mean. |

| To get back to Torsten's original topic, the US economy is showing signs of stress and you see headlines that would scare a lot of people. Many companies are out of business. However, on a personal level, life goes on with me, as long as I still have a job. I'm looking forward to the big sales during the holiday season...more bang for the buck :) |

I would like to remind all of us ,we were less as one year ago strongly ensured how good things actually are and what a genius Mr Greenspan was.Now is everything opposite but ... . Is it anything truely changed ? I don't think so , we are just again pawns in speculators games. I had started rebuying shares since three weeks and I am convinced that I am not alone. The last years were just truely amazing comparing them to the past, it can't go on forever like this.We needed such a shock and it would be very healthy for an entire constitution of the world economy.

Assumed that the economy is fine, I wonder what impact the crisis with the biggest automotive concern GM might have, how about Freddie Mac and Anni Mae, Lehmann brothers, just to mention a few American enterprises? How about the decrease of Dow Jones, DAX, Nikkei and so on? How about 30,000 workplaces at Opel the German daughter of GM? They don´t receive any money from there dispite they paid the bonuses? It certainly don´t depend on the American market only but also on missmanagement all over the world, at least that is what one could conclude at first and seems logical at the first sight. I´d say it´s not an US American damage only. But since economic players are global players they must develop a global plan for a stable economy, mustn´t they? _________________ "Ho ho!" said the clown |

If economy supposes to behave in a normal healthy way , then scorch marks will heal up with short time and we will be able to make cash again. Really , where is the problem with economy , it always is good time to make money, afterwards every crisis makes some farther opportunities availble to find.
