TOEFL® iBT score available (Oct 25, 2008)

Hi ,

This is my first time. With one week of preparation (mostly reading this and other sites, plus 2 Kaplan CD Practice-Test for the reading and listening parts) i got:

R 28
L 28
S 22
W 24
Total: 102

More than expected! The test wasn't as easy as i thought it would be, specially the reading part. I got really anxious at the speaking part (because that big cup of coffe @ the break).

It's a good score for a little effort (lol) !
I passed my TOEFL in october 31th, but I haven't yet the result.
Has somebody an idea about how to get Toefl scores? October's scores are all ready now?

My test was on Oct 25, as well. I agree that it was difficult, especially the reading part.

Total 105

Hey, I attempted the TOEFL in November and got 102. I know it is a good score, but I really doubt the way they scale the score.
In fact, I am surprised to see the results. Anyone has an idea what is happening with TOEFL evaluations? Are they lowering
the grading levels? Why?

I m new member from Turkey. I learned here when I loof for some info about TOEFL. I will have a TOEFL exam on 23 January so I m anxious because I have master program at Bogazici University about Industrial Engineering and I have to pass this exam. Have you got any clues about TOEFL? Thanks

You just practiced for a short time but your scores in the tests are good. I am very anxious to practice as much as i can for the tests in next some months.
