Hi Torsen,
Below is my joke.
There were once two illiterate chief. Chief A asked Chief B to tell him the answer to 2 + 2. Chief B responded and said 3. Then chief A said to chief B "You are really clever, I will like you to give me tuition in maths".

Hi everybody I think it's so important for us to have sence of humor;you laugh and you make others laugh either as a teacher , a student or a friend. The best thing is when you hang out with friends and spend time laughing you feel that every thing is ok and life is the best thing ever. I wish everyone good Nawal .....Yemen |

Hi! I think making people laugh is an art and not any one can do this. I'm one of students who seldom tell jokes in class, so it's difficult to make relationship. Do you think so? Yes laughing is a good medicine for us, so it's worth laughing if teachers tell us fun stories.:) If we don't smile, teacher fail to make us understand his humorous story! Hello Mr Alan, in your story "a bit of laugh", you insert many idioms that are interesting and comprehensible in my opinion. Hope to read more stories of you next time of e-course. Thanks for all you and Mr Torsten do for the leaners. |

Hello Allan, you story made me smile. I really think that I wouldn't be able to make laugh the princess, so my kingdom is lost, I'm sorry for me. I expect you'll give me another opportunity. It's a good story with lots of vocabulary and grammar.

Hi Torsten,
I like to laugh if it is funny and is one of the way to release stress.
It would be good to put in humour when teaching English or other lessons as well.
Maybe not all the time because it may loose its impact.

Thank you Alan!
It was marvelous. I must say every email lesson is somewhat unique, but essays are beyond all expectations.

Hi there, That was quite a story with a lot of laughs. What I like about it specially are the different types of uses of the word laugh and their meanings. I'll download this because I'm going to use these phrases in my English lessons to my form. It is a very good language exercise. What my school needs are these phrasal verbs and idiomatic expressions which I myself don't really understand let alone them. Thanks Torsten. Takenrerei |

Nowadays, to live without a humor dose should do badly for our body. I agree that in a class class or in a department of any place, it should be had moments to laugh and to relax. Mainly in a class room, if there are not moments of laughter and relaxation the class it becomes heavy and little profitable. In summary, who does the class to be good is the teacher. It is also in our life, the day can be wonderful. It depends on our vision, where we want and we will enjoy in the future. Vision, is really inside of a storm in our life, we will know that will remove some experience. Valdemir |

Hi everybody, laughing is a must I guess, and without laughing it is quite difficult to learn a new language. There should always be some minutes for a joke or a nice limerick or so. Do you know this one? A young girl who was no good at tennis, But at swimming was really a menace, Took pains to explain, "It depends how you train: I was a streetwalker in Venice."
or the following one:
There was an old girl of Kilkenny Whose usual charge was a penny. For half of that sum You might fondle her bum - A source of amusement to many.
Wishing you lots of fun for this weekend, Andreas |

Nice story ! Generally the interesting jokes tend to be more dirty but not always.Telling joke in personal is a bit more interesting because of the gestures of the storyteller. Althought the written joke can be humorous here too.It can be confusing if you don't like it especially if you like another sort of jokes. Thereby your story here is my : Do you know what is the difference between russian funeral and wedding ? In the funeral the drunk people are one less .
Without any bad feelings, just for fun. |
