Grammatically, that's fine, but what do you mean exactly when you say"keep" and "system"? Do you want to keep a machine running? Or do you want to keep something in your possession? Something else? :?:

EDIT:
Do you want to know whether that sentence means the same thing as the sentence in the title of your thread?

I wanted to put this ("Can we run these scripts for one more hour") sentence but later changed my mind because it may create confusion as this is a technical thing. Maybe everyone can not understand it.

What I meant was, I want to keep the system in my possesion for one more hour.
