How common is the term 'object of agreement' as the first item/heading of a written contract? It seems to be a translation of the German term "Vertragsgegenstand" which is rather awkward and might be even redundant.

Many thanks,
Torsten

.
I haven't noticed it before, Torsten. As the heading? Usually, just 'Agreement' or 'Agreement between _____ and _____ [date]'.
