Hi Dear Torsten,

First Congratulation to you and your friends.
Would you please read my question and check my answer?
"When may, maybe and may be are used?"
May is used to express possibility and it's a modal verb.
Maybe is used to show that something is possible or true and it's a adverb, and may be is a modal verb + be.
Could you please complete or correct my answer.

Thanks in advance.
MahThanks

Hi Mah,

When you use the search function on site you will get this: may be vs. maybe

You have already posted 10 messages so you obviously know how to use the forum. However, you need to start using the apostrophe when you write texts in English. The words 'cant' and 'dont' don't exist.

Hi everyone,
My name is Isabelle, I'm a stay home mom, I have 2 boys (9 and 5), I read English, I understand it pretty well, my problem is when I try to speak it, I can explain myself, but not the way that I'd like you know?, I'd like to practice my speaking more, I don't practice with my kids, because I don't want them to forget their first language (spanish). Do you have any suggestion for me Torsten, I'd like to finally get it. Thank you : )
