Which word goes into the above blank, forget or forgot?

I'd use "forget" in that context, Sitifan.

Good morning Amy, why would you use "forget"?
With my limited English skills I can`t quite comprehend it, I mean, the use of the verb in present tense seems unnatural for my Spanish proned brain, did you base your decision on a present tense concordance?

Have a nice weekend.
God Bless you.
Cisco.
