i need some insights on this.... anyone?

i took a few grammar tests on the usage of the following phrases (if thats what you call it) above stated, unfortunately, i got it all mixed up. :cry:

will somebody tell me the different usage of "turn into", "turn in", "turn up", "turn on" and some examples too.

Turn up:
Eg: I called her to the function, but she/he didn't turn up (He didn't come to the function).
Turn on:
Eg: Please turn that fan on.
