Various should be followed by a noun in the plural form. For example: We have placed various orders.

"... a multiple order."
Cant understand this part.
Should'nt multiple also be followed by "orders" and not "order."
CONFUSED I AM , HELP!!

The expression "a multiple order" can be used to mean "one order that includes various different things".
