In my hometown, the summer is hot, winter is cold, warm spring and cool autumn. The four seasons are clearly cut. i want to express this, will i say distinct or distinctive seasons?

Hi Florawong

You are referring to four distinct seasons. (clearly separate and different)

You can talk about what makes one of them distinctive -- let's say autumn -- if you talk about the things that are typical and/or special only for autumn. In my area, for example, one of the things that is distinctive about autumn is that the leaves change color, and then fall off the trees.
