Hello Bez.
I would write some sentences with them.
1 like = similar to sb/sth
-She is wearing a dress as mine.
-He's very like his father.
-it's like honey
-give one like yours (=I'd like one like yours)
2about appearance
-I look like my mother.
-That looks like an interesting book.
-It looks like rain.(=It looks as if it's going to rain.)
negation
She looks nothing like(=not at all like) her mother.
The photograph doesn't look like her at all.
