How can one learn to Speak English in a proper way, if there is noone with him? #1 (permalink) Sat Nov 22, 2008 13:28 pm   How can one learn to Speak English in a proper way, if there is noone with him?

Hi All,

Peoples says, if you want to improve English you should start speaking with your friends or your colleague or anyone, who is close to you. However, I feel very embarrassed to speak, because I am not at all good in speaking as well. That is why most of the time, I do not speak anything in our meetings.
How can I Improve my speaking at my home itself? Because I think if I am little bit confident about my self only then I will be able to speak with others.

I hope I'll receive good advises :-)

waiting for your thoughts............

Regards
Taruna

Hello Taruna,

In a few days you will be able to record your voice online here on the forum so others can listen to it and give you feedback on how you can improve your pronunciation and intonation. For more please read Recording audio messages on the forum? and let me know what you think.

Many thanks,
Torsten
PS: The noun "advice" is uncountable so the word 'advices' does not exist. The word 'advise' is a verb so you can say 'she often advises me....'
