GRE® question (about taking it a second time)

Hi, I am taking the GRE for the first time this December. I don't intend to send the scores to the schools in case I bomb the test. In the scenario that I don't do well on the exam and take it a second time, will the universities see my scores on the first attempt when I send them my scores?

Do you think they average the 2 scores or most of the time just take the last score into consideration?

Yes, they will see the first score. I haven't heard of any school that averages scores, so I wouldn't worry about that. They take your highest score and go with that.
