May be you wanted to say something like, I will also not delete the file.
But I think the line below sounds more natural.
I will not delete the file either.

Daemon99, Yes, you are correct. I wanted to say "I will also not delete the file".
In which context I can say: "I don't delete the file".

You use simple present when you want to say that you have/don't have the habit of doing something.
For eg:
I don't work on Unix. (I always use Windows) I don't save files to the desktop. (I always save them in my personal folder, c:suresh) _________________ Non-native speaker of English
