That one is not really English. If you don't believe me, google it.
You can also say "the positives outweigh the negatives", "there are more positive aspects than negative ones", "there are more advantages than disadvantages", "it has more to recommend it than..." (Google that last phrase, and you'll see how people finish it.)

There is not much English that is really English !!!
I have known that phrase for only 40 years or so ??? With the world at about... um .. millions of years old ... maybe 40 years is not enough...
Anyway, who said it has to be of English origin. I thought only in English would be enuff !!! (smirk)
