Hello :)

Can I say that "I am remaining on the floor" while I am moving on it?

I'd like to know if it's a right usage of this word; If it is true that "I am remaining on the floor" while I am moving on it and not standing in one place on this floor.
Could someone explain that question please?

No. It is odd in both semantics and syntax.

So when I would be standing on the floor and not moving, would it be right then, semantically at least?
And how, in your opinion, should I say that but using the word 'remaining'? Thanks

You will remain on the floor until you leap to the table top or grow wings and fly away, so there is no reason to make a statement asserting it. 'Remain' is a stative verb that does not usually appear in progressive aspect.

I wanted to make that statement to show the usage of this word to some learners. I had some examples like "I am remaining on the chair" and "I am remaining on the floor" or "I am remaining in the classroom" which were contrasted to some sentences like "I am going to the door", etc. I just wasn't sure if I can say 'remaining' while moving when I was saying "I am remaining on the floor".

As Mr. M said, it's so very odd. Unless you suddenly decide that you should be walking across the top of the desks, where else would you be, moving or stationary, but on the floor?

The girls will go to Miss Smith's classroom to change into their costumes while the boys will be remaining here.

(Julie is going to the store, but John is remaining home.)

The sentence only seems to make sense in the past:
They remained on the floor, while the gunmen robbed the bank.

or

While remaining on the floor - the hostage - reaching for his gun - shot the burglar.
I am not sure how to punctuate this sentence - can someone help?
