I believe that television positively influences relationships among friends and families, and it also improves communication among people.

In my point of view, television gathered families together. Television provides many programs that family members can watch and have a good time together. For example, when parents and their children watch movies or cartoons at home, they can share their opinions with each other. Furthermore, parents may educate their children and point out which is right or wrong from the content. Thus, television can assist family member to communicate in a positive way.

Moreover, TV programs are one of the most favorite subjects of discussion. When people get together,the most common topic of many conversations may be about TV shows or actors. You can enjoy watching TV with your friends who have the same interest. For instance, one of my friends and I like to watch some western TV series, such as “Gossip girls” and “Friends.” After watching those dramas, we share our ideas and discuss the content every week. As a result, it shows that television can encourage friends to talk to each other more.

Lastly, it is a good way to break the ice when you meet someone who is not familiar with you. When you don’t know or understand a new friend, you may find a common topic from some popular TV shows or programs. Some people may try to talk about dramas or sport games from TV programs. After having some conversations with each other, two of you may become good friends.

For all these reasons, I believe that television improves communications among friends and families. Television has several benefits which can promote friends and family to communicate in various ways.

I've done the same essay, and I would like you guys to express an opinion about it.

During the last years, TV has become an other member of our families. It has transformed our communication traditions, making pople more isolated. A lot of people admit being addicted to TV and in my humble point of view that is not good at all. How TV can affect to people communication can worry any of us and in this essay I will try to explain it.

Since TV arrived to our houses, communication between family members is not the same. When "the box" is turned on the communication is done. We could stay in front of the TV watching a show instead of talking to each other. This electronic machine gives to people a mean to escape from their reality and an usefull tool to relax after a stress day, and that is why people love TV.

As far as I'm concerned, I believe that TV is destroying old communication. For example, I arrive home after a long day at university and I am having a dinner with my family. It is so common and sad that TV is turned on and if somebody is watching to his favourite show he/she is "allowed" to ask the other to keep his/her voice down. Years ago, that was unvelievable because dinner time was the part of the day when each member of a family knew how had been the days of the rest. Consequently, we had more communication and that means we knew more about each other.

Nowadays, however, that has changed. Instead of talking at dinner time, we prefer to watch TV and say just a few words about how our day was. I'm not saying that TV hasn't give to us a good way to get informed about what is happening out there. But still, it seems to me that it is destroying communication among friends and family.

television like any technological invention has no will to destroy humanity. It is the particular purpose set by humans that define their consequenses. Along these lines Tv in itself used in moderate manner can benefit almost everyone while an excessive usage can have have harmful efects especially on human relations.
Television provides almost any kind of program from amusing artist shows to profoundly elaborate documentaries thus satisfying its milions viewers. Charismatic people such as Louis Armstrong and Einstein or just important events like the landing on the moon and the discovery of the dna were all made widely known to the public from the extended use of Tv. In that way interests from music to physics were becoming more and more popular thus groups and organizations of common interest were formed or simply enlarged. For example, beatlemania in the US was a group of myriad fans ( beatles' broadcast was watched by millions)
During the last decades, on tha o ther hand, espeacially at the Us televison addicts is an ever-burgeoning group. More and more people prefered to form a relationship with the celebrities of comercials or tv series ( "soap" series) rather than deepeng the bond with their friends and family. Apparently the fear of being critisoed or rejaected was much less in that way.
AS wee see the human ego destroys and aggravates human relations rather than Tv or the internet. I hope humans shortly understand the madnees behind accusing technology for their own ignorance .
